Born and raised in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California, Joe was bit by the performing bug early, spending the majority of his childhood on community theatre stages. By the age of 13, he made his professional acting debut at Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA), and he hasn't looked back since! After high school, Joe headed straight to New York City where he graduated with honors from the prestigious BFA Musical Theatre program at Pace University in 2014.
Since graduating from Pace, the six-foot-tall ginger has played leading roles at regional theatres across the nation, and has toured multiple continents as a soloist with The USO Show Troupe and Dublin's Irish Tenors. In 2015, Joe covered the lead role of Huey on the national tour of Broadway's Tony-winning musical, Memphis. He also originated the role of Elf Joe in the 1st national tour of The Elf on The Shelf: A Christmas Musical.
When not onstage, Joe is a proud theatre educator and coach. His self-led workshops and classes have been presented in multiple states around the nation, as well as virtually (via Zoom).
Joe is based in New York City where you'll find him listening to podcasts on the subway or enjoying a nice IPA in Hamilton Heights.
